A variation of Freudemocracy – here the karaoke is reflected in a drawing of a late 60's hot-rod-outhouse. In One Plus One, the narrator of the pulp novel (who serves as the voice-over) reveals that he is reading from the "Karzi" (British slang for outhouse). He also laments the rise of a popular form of American cinema at the time, the drive-in movie theatre.
